Scope
Vorticity has been a central topic in fluid mechanics for 150 years. In the 21st century, vortex dynamics brings together a vibrant community in areas including biomechanics, astrophysics, oceanography, atmospheric sciences, aeronautics, acoustics, condensed matter physics and computational science.
This symposium will bring together researchers from different fields with an emphasis on new techniques, applications and areas of research. Theoretical, computational, experimental and observational approaches will be included.
